Puppies love to chew, they will chew anything you give them so you need to puppy proof your house.
Don't use pesticides in your backyard, puppies love to eat grass. Also they love to chew on plant so be no spraying on plants either.
Puppies also like to chew on wires so make sure they are tucked away.
They will outgrow their chewing phase but just be aware they love to chew anything they can.
Take a look at your back yard to make sure they can't escape. This is important.
And finally just enjoy that new puppy, have fun with him/her, it's an exciting time. It's a lot of work but well worth it.
